Steven and Lea
18th January, 2003, changed our life dramatically. Having lost our home in a firestorm, our young family was determined to start again and rebuild our future on our original block in Holder, hopefully in time for Christmas.
The Canberra Bushfire disaster brought neighbours together and it was through this networking that we were first recommended “Stronach Building Group” and the owner, Barry Stronach.
My wife first met Barry at an informal meeting with other neighbours who had lost their homes. Lea was impressed with Barry’s down to earth approach and his honesty and empathy of our situation and at no time were we pressured to commit to using his services.
We then arranged a second meeting on an individual basis and I quickly knew that I could trust his judgement and extensive experience in planning our new home and to commence the building process.
Barry Stronach and his business partner, Donna Marincel, are an exceptional team and together they ensured our building process ran smoothly, with a minimum of fuss. The work schedule was meticulously planned from the commencement date through to the completion date with a contingency plan for the loss of work days due to unfavourable weather or the possible delay in building supplies.
We were well informed at all times of when crucial decisions were to be made and this ensured we made the time and effort required to complete the process.
The attention to detail by Barry and Donna and all their teams was second to none and at no time, were we made to feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. Having never built previously, we were encouraged to ask questions if unsure of any detail and this assisted greatly in dispelling any small concerns we may have had from time to time.
I would strongly recommend Stronach Building Group to all prospective clients, seeking a builder with integrity, attention to detail and empathy for your individual situation.
We would happily use the services of Stronach Building Group again at any time in the future if the opportunity was to arise.
